Carl Bennink, Ph.D.
Carl has over 29 years of experience in management
and consulting that includes strategic planning, analytics, predictive
modeling, data mining, research, and performance management. He holds
a B.S. degree in Psychology from Grand Valley State University as well
as M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Experimental Psychology from the
University of Louisville.
Most recently, Carl has served as the coordinator of
strategy and analytics in the intelligence center of one of the
largest local law enforcement agencies in the U.S. He has led and delivered
solutions for implementation of intelligence-led policing initiatives,
the agency's strategic operations plan, performance management system,
and patrol redeployment. In addition, he has developed new
methodologies for mining law enforcement data sources, tracking crime
levels, proactively targeting high-priority offenders, and targeting high-risk traffic locations. This follows
extensive experience in management and consulting with other business
organizations around the country.
Carl is known for his no-nonsense approach to
converting ideas and principles to practical plans and applications
within organizations and for his ability to communicate substantive
knowledge and expertise to others. In addition to conducting
numerous client seminars and programs, he has served as adjunct
faculty at the University of Louisville, University of South Florida,
and University of Tampa.
